Becoming a ChaCha guide.
ChaCha Bubble Logo
To become a ChaCha guide requires an invite from a Master ChaCha Guide. At this time ChaCha is not accepting any new guides. Hopefully the ability to apply will be open again soon. I am a master ChaCha guide and I do have several invites avaliable. I will be sending these out as soon as ChaCha starts to add more guides. Anyone interested can send me an email to jbkymale@yahoo.com .

How much you make working for ChaCha depends on many factors. You start out at $5 per hour for time spent providing links for the infoseeker. Once you reach the Elite level you earn $10. Not many guides make it to the Elite level. It is limited to the top 10% of ChaCha guides. Once you achieve Master level you can start working on your network. You will get 10% of what everyone in your network makes, plus .01% of what everyone in their network make. There are ChaCha guides that are making many hundreds of dollars a month off their networks. Being a ChaCha guide you are an independent contractor and are not an employee of ChaCha.

Hi! You just asked for an invite for ChaCha. We're pretty picky about who we give invites too, because we make commission off those who we invite. Also, we get a limited number of invites and  I am currently monitoring the invitations of our guides very closely to assure Guide quality

You must be able to answer yes to these first FIVE questions:

1. Are you over the age of 18
2. Are you legally authorized to work in the United States  and have a SS number.
3. You can spell correctly, use correct grammar, and are fluent in English
4. You have high speed Internet (e.g. DSL, cable)
5. You can navigate the Internet with ease
* You must have the most recent version of Java on your computer

Can you answer some questions, please?
If you could send some information on yourself including your address, if you are over the age of 18, and perhaps some of your interests, it would help me consider your invitation to be a guide.

Before you proceed with this email, please take a moment to read this article about Cha Cha from the Good Morning America show on October 2nd, 2006: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/TakeContro...2516129&page=1

If after you read this article, you think this opportunity might be for you, then please proceed.

Please note that to become a ChaCha Guide, You must:
1. have high-speed Internet
2. have 30 MB of storage on your computer
3. be able to navigate the Internet with ease
4. Be a United States resident
5. You must be 18 yrs. or older

If you qualify to become a Cha Cha Guide (based on the 5 criteria listed above), please fill out the questionnaire below and send it back to me. I will then review it and contact you before the day is over.

1. What is your name and address?

2. Do you have a high speed Internet connection? And where do you access the Internet, from home or office?

3. Are you fluent in the English language and do you have excellent grammar and spelling skills?

4. How long have you been using the Internet (in years)?

5. Do you know how to use a search engine effectively?

6. Are you a people person who is polite and has a "customer is always right" attitude?

7. What kind of hours can you devote to ChaCha? Please give an estimated number.

8. Have you gone to www.chacha.com and tried searching for something on the engine and/or with a Guide?
Please explain what you liked about it.

9. Please explain why you would like to become a Guide and why you think you would be an excellent one.

10. What is the phone number that you can be reached, no cell phone numbers please? I keep in close contact with the Guides in my network, in case they need help or I need to contact them.

11. What is your real email address? Not an anonymous one like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc - but the one associated with your ISP account.

Please respond to the above questionnaire and I will respond as soon as I can! I only have a limited number of invitations available, so if you're sincerely interested in this opportunity and are willing to work, then get back to me with your information ASAP.

Once I've received their reply to this questionnaire, then I usually verify their phone number by calling and introducing myself. Usually by speaking with you to allow me to gauge whether or not you 'match' the info that you have  sent to me. (If I don't speak with you - no invite gets sent.)

I also trace the header of their email for additional info. Anyone can say that they live in the US to get into the system. Having your real email address, I can do this trace and know for sure.

If I'm satisfied with what I've found out about the applicant, then and only then will I issue them an invite. I didn't always do this process. It wasn't until after I had 3 people sign up and do absolutely nothing, that I decided to be stricter before letting anyone into my network. If the applicant won't give me their phone number and real email address, then that ends the process right then and there. I've noticed the I've had much better results by doing things this way.
